Most books concentrate on the fitting of contact lenses and, like this one, maintain a clinical bias throughout. This edition—the third, with 34 chapters—is strengthened by some very useful devices for efficiently and conveniently accessing information, as well as by the inclusion of greater treatment of subjects like keratoconus, orthokeratology, bifocals and astigmatic fittings as examples. Practical guidance outweighs theory throughout but there are thousands of references included to facilitate additional reading that may be needed.
